A History of Successful Partnerships
Blue Thistle was founded in 2005 by Oscar Wolters-Duran. Over the past eighteen years Oscar has directed a number of education, arts and youth organizations, and has held the position of director of operations for the software company, HireRocket. With HireRocket he pioneered funding links with several Bay Area non profit organizations. Most recently he served as the Executive Director of the Haas School of Business' Young Entrepreneurs at Haas. Through his work at Haas he developed relationships with many of the Bay Area's top funders and companies. Oscar is a graduate of the Institute of Non Profit Consulting.
Blue Thistle provides consulting services in the fields of youth and family services, health care, education and the arts, serving all parts of the broader Bay Area.
